Here is Miss Mallory at her 6 month appointment...
17 pounds
28.5 inches long
Eating all types of baby food and loving every bite.  Still has her bottles and that means lots of "cuddle time" with mommy and daddy.  Even "Bubba" feeds her bottles.
Laughs and smiles constantly and let me just say, she is going to be my social butterfly.  Any time that I take her out, she is smiling at people, batting those long eyelashes, and talking up a storm.
She sleeps through the night and sometimes sleeps in longer than her brother.  He's usually the first one up.  I might have to train him this summer to go ahead and fix Mallory a bottle while he's up! haha
Mallory's eyes are still blue, and we're all wondering if they will change.
Overall, she's our little angel!  Such a blessing to our lives!!!!

Monster Truck Jam

Saturday, Barrett had his second soccer game, then headed out to the Dallas Cowboy Stadium to watch the Monster Truck Jam event.  Matt decided to get tickets for he and Barrett...calling it, a "Boys Night Out".
They had such a great time!  Matt made the comment that he really enjoyed the time spent with Barrett and it's something they plan on doing every year.  I don't think Barrett could ever get tired of seeing trucks jump, twirl, smash other cars, and make loud noises!!!!
After the event, I expected Matt to come home with Barrett asleep...but instead, I had an excited 4 year old talking my ear off!!!  He truly had the time of his life!!!
As we were getting him ready for bed (near 11:00), he said to me, "Momma, I had a really good time.  It was the most AWESOMEST day ever!!!"

Snaps of This and That

Soccer Time

Here we are...SOCCER TIME!  Barrett is now a member of the Frisco Soccer Association.  A lot of his teammates played last Fall, but Barrett fit right in as he played his first game on Saturday (opening day of the Spring season).  Bear scored 2 out of the 8 for his team and on top of that...he won "Player of the Game"!  We were ecstatic!!!  First game, first win, and first trophy!!!!  Talk about a proud mommy and daddy!!!  I don't think I stopped smiling the entire day.

Those Two Together

It melts my heart seeing the two of my children playing together.  Barrett is so wonderful with Mallory.  He keeps her entertained, engaged, and talks to kindly to her.  I already know that her big brother will be the apple of her eye!!!!
