Little Miss Mallory
I just loved this little photo shoot.  Nothing huge, but had to get her birthday pictures and 1 year pictures taken.  It was fun making her tutu...and I found the hot pink boa with hair piece to match!  ADORABLE!!!!  She didn't know what to do with all the feathers and itchy tutu!  Then, I sat a cake in front of her.  At first, she questioned what to do with it, but then dug right in!!!

Barrett's First Day of Kindergarten

More pictures from the very first day of school.  Your daddy did a wonderful job filling in for me.  He took great snapshots and even managed to get one of you and Mrs. Cheatham (our school's namesake)!!!  Look good and READY!!!!

Barrett's First Day of Kindergarten

Mrs. Ritter was your Kindergarten teacher.  You really liked her and became friends with her son Tyler Ritter.
This is your P.E. coach - Coach K  She was super sweet and you liked her a lot.  Her assistant was Coach McNulty.  She had a son that played for Missouri Tigers.  Although you didn't know Brad well, you heard us talk about him a lot.  Coach McNulty bought you a t-shirt with Mizzou writing on it and you wore it to school to support Brad in football.
Oh what a handsome young boy!!!!  You were great on your first day of school.  Since I had a classroom full of 4th graders to meet, your daddy took you into the school on your first day.  I kind of wish I would have taken you because you always reminded me (remembered back to the very first day) and would say..."Daddy took me to school on my first day".  I hope you understand one day why I couldn't walk you into class.  I wanted to, but had to be present in the classroom for all of my fourth grade students.
Regardless, you can bet I was emailing Mrs. Ritter within minutes to see how you were, and I always dropped by your classroom to take a sneak peek or say hello to you!!!!!

Mallory's 1st Birthday in Graham

We had an additional birthday party in Graham!
People attending:
Great Grandad and Great Mimi
KK
Larry and Gail
Mama, Daddy, and Barrett
I will say that you received clothes, shoes, and light-up mirror.  It was more like a vanity.  It had make-up brushes, big plastic tube of lipstick, a comb, and played music!  The lights would flash around the mirror and you were mesmerized!  You love that thing!!!  It kept you entertained for a long time (days, weeks, and months).  That was one of your absolute favorite toys!

DINOSUAR PARK / Vacation with Meme and Papa Barrett

This summer, my parents decided to take the grandkids on a little get-away to Glenrose, TX and Grandbury, TX for a get-away (mini-vaca).  One day was filled with an amazing tour of the Dinosaur park and the other was spent at the Ft. Worth zoo (along with staying at a "super-neat" hotel as Barrett says).
Barrett had a blast!  He's still talking about it.  I know a ton of memories were made!!!
My best moment was how much my parents bragged about Barrett.  They said he was very well mannered and an adorable personality.  I'm glad they got a chance to see that and spend some time with him!!!!  XOXOXOXO
