September

This September has been fun.  Matt and I have managed to steal away some time together on two different occasions.  One "date" as to see the Texas Rangers play baseball.  The other was just a night out for dinner.  Both dates were fantastic!!!
Our entire family is finally adjusting to our daily routines of getting up and getting ready for school.  The weeks tend to fly by, therefore, we literally LIVE for the weekends together.
We headed over to visit our good friends for some Texas A&M football.  I'm thinking that might be a great place to send Barrett!  All we need is a good scholarship. haha
Mallory is getting hair, eating more solid foods, and continuing to sprout new teeth!  Her personality is adorable and loves each one of us.  She's sweet, but has a mind of her own.  She enjoys doing things on her own and is going to be a risk taker!  Watch out world.

Most of the homework in Kindergarten so far is usually sent home for us to do as a family.  This is another project that Barrett was working on.  I helped him a little, but tried encouraging him to do the majority of it.  He did well.  This was a "paper doll" of himself.
Afterward, we headed to the pool for a cool down.  Mallory was a good spectator!

Karlee's Birthday / Family Get-Together

We met the family in Graham at Steer Bowl for Karlee's birthday.  We had a nice time.  I can't believe how much Karlee is going up.  She is one of Barrett's best friends.  The two of the play so well together, and honestly, they act a lot alike.  They both have these amazing imaginations.  It's always a pleasure watching and listening to the two of them when they are together.  Karlee is good to Barrett.  Although she is much older, she has a soft spot for him in her heart...and he has one for her too.

Around the House

Just hanging out with the family!  Random pictures of our daily lives.  Mallory is growing and into everything!!!  I don't think she ever sits still.   Barrett loves coming home from school and jumping on the trampoline.  You would think he would be tired from school, but he too...has a ton of energy.

Kindergarten Mascot

Barrett was chosen to bring home his Kindergarten mascot for the weekend.  Their classroom has a stuffed frog named, Leap.  Barrett was responsible for taking care of Leap and bringing him back ready to share stories about their adventures together.
As a family, we enjoyed taking pictures, writing from Leap's point of view, and putting together a journal of our weekend.

August and September Snapshots

Snapshots from August and September
One of my favorite pictures is the one of all of us with pacifiers in our mouths.  I had so many comments on it! haha  Too funny!!!
