Mallory Turns TWO

Our sweet little Mallory turned TWO! 

We had a birthday party at our house with filled with family and fun!  Mallory got lots of presents, including a new bicycle, horses, Minnie Mouse dolls, new backpacks, pink bean bad and lots of clothes. 

We had a wonderful celebration and I'm grateful for the amazing family that was able to come!!!

Spotlight Christian Camp - Summer 2014

Barrett had the opportunity to attend Spotlight this year.  It's a week long "day" camp full of activites for the students to participate in.  Mainly...it is a progressive build up to a musical production on Friday. Barrett was surrounded by peers as well as older high school students that led the groups in team building activites, how to pray, and worship.  Barrett had a good time and the production at the end of the week as incredible!

Sharkarosa - Pilot Point, TX

Also in July, we took a quick trip out to Pilot Point (about 30 minutes or so from our house) to a little place called, Sharkarosa.  Funny name, right?  Well, needless to say, it does NOT have sharks, but instead cameals, pigs, bears, lemurs, kangaroos, snakes, and zebras.  Pretty interesting place!  The kids loved the train (hooked up to a hot rod tractor and trust me...it didn't go slow whatsoever)!!!  Even Matt jumped on the train once he say how fast it went.

Dallas Zoo in July

Late in July you would expect it to be super hot, however a brief cold front (lasting only a day) blew in and we decided to take advantage of it by going to the Dallas Zoo!  It was close to 65 degrees outside and if I do say so...it got chilly as the day went on.

We had a wonderful time (just the four of us).
