Summer Memories

I don't ever want to forget these happy little faces!  Mallory is all over the place with her crawling and we're hoping sooner than later she takes her first steps!!!  Barrett is Superman one day, Batman the next, and then will decide he is a policeman or firefighter, or Ninja out of the blue!  I love it though!!!
Today, he was over at our neighbor's house and she sent a video over of them doing a DANCE PARTY!  It was hysterical.  Barrett of course wearing Spiderman socks, shorts, and a policeman jacket/button down.  There were seven or eight kids involved!  So much fun to be hand on a rainy day!!!!
Mallory finally has enough hair for PIG TAILS!  I.absolutely.love.it!!!!!!  Even Matt said that he never thought in a million years he would be in love with a little girl wearing pig tails...but HE IS!!!!!  Awe, I think it is great!  Mallory certainly has her daddy wrapped about her finger!!!  NO JOKE!!!!!
I also ran across some pictures of my grandparents.  It was so nice to see them!!!!  I love and miss them so much, but wanted to include their picture to show Mallory and Barrett some day!
I managed to put together a 1,000 piece puzzle this past week.  Granted, the only time I had to work on it was when Mallory was napping (which I usually was napping too) or when she went to bed.  That little "turkey" would crawl up and demand to be put up near the puzzle or crawl up in my lap.  She refused to play with her stuff while I was trying to concentrate!!!!
Barrett has spent some time out in West Texas.  I'll post those pictures soon.  He stayed with my parents in Throckmorton and they took him to the Dinosaur Park in Glenrose, then stayed the night in a neat hotel in Granbury.  Karlee, Kelsey, Barrett, Meme, and Papa has a great time!!!!!
Then Barrett was off to Graham a few days later to hang out with Mimi and Grandad, Karen, Larry and Gail.  He went swimming, rode his scooter, told a lot of stories (I hear) and kept the entire family laughing.  On top of that, he ate really well!  They cooked wonderful meals for him and now he requests sausage and eggs, biscuits, and milk every morning!  Whew...I better get with it.  No more muffins and cereal bars for this growing boy!!!!
