B's visit with Meme and Papa

Sometimes it's nice to get away!  Barrett did exactly that before he started his 2014-2015 school year. While I was at in-service preparing for the beginning of school, Barrett went to spend time with is Meme and Papa in Throckmorton for a couple of days.  Then, Meme drove him over to Graham where he stayed with Mimi Shepard and KK.  It's fun having some Grandparent time, especially when it's just YOU.  I know he was given a lot of attention.

Barrett, your grandparents adore you.  They tell me all the time what a great person you are.  You're kind, considerate, helpful, and you love to talk.
You especially like hanging out in Throckmorton with Papa Barrett because you're his only grandson.  He's told you that you're responsible for helping with things out on the farm.  He's taught you so much already about cows, tractors, welding, horses, dogs, trucks, and other farm equipment.  From wearing boots because of possible rattle snakes, to driving around "the mule"...you've become his right-hand-man.

Meme Barrett says you're so smart.  She listens to you read, loves hearing you talk and thinks you have an incredible imagination.  She's introduced you to new foods, new ideas, and appreciates your thoughtfulness. Meme is so proud of you.

KK and Mimi Shepard love your kind spirit, your imagination, your appetite, and literally think you hung the moon.  They look forward to every visit from you and send you home with so many goodies (especially Legos, Monster trucks, and Hotwheels).

You are SPECIAL...there is no doubt about how much your family loves you!!!!
