Veteran's Day

Barrett has recently learned a lot about the branches of the military and armed forces.  He knows that both of his Papas have been in the Marine Corps.  He's developing a respect for the men and women that have served our country.  I hope this continues as he gets older.
Below is a picture of his Papa Barrett (Jimmy Barrett) and Meme Barrett (Gloria Kovar) back in the 1960s.

Barrett's art work is displayed below as well.  In preparation for Veteran's Day, he wrote a thank you note to the veterans and constructed a Thanksgiving / Veteran turkey in honor of the holidays.
